A bit of history:

Sherø, founder of KKR, heard the demo version for the first time in 2019, when they sent a demo album to pitch for a remix, and was immediately drawn to the catchy vocals of Sweet Love and as the label was just fresh, pushed it away for a year until the label had matured enough to give this subliminal track a home and the visibility it deserves. In 2019 Joy Also performed the track guided by just the bass in a private setting, when both of them were visiting relatives in Belgium and Shero stayed the night at Joy´s mum. Sherø: “ I was almost in tears, the vocals are so intense and beautiful, to share this cute intermezzo with her family, was just pure magic…”.

As Joy says :“The song “Sweet Love" came to light several years ago when everything was pitch black and I had no place to go. Since then, it has been my lullaby for comfort and my favorite anthem for strength. Words were easily caught as if written in the sky. It’s a matter of trust, sometimes you just have to wait until stars align, look up, read and pin down.”

“I’m extremely happy I can finally share these good vibes with our listeners. Thanks to KlubKid Records - the new label of our beloved friend, Sherø - the song finally found a suitable home in the shape of an EP, containing five different interpretations of “Sweet Love”.”
